Kógerné Kühn Edit: Teaching drama

‘Drama is doing. Drama is being. Drama can generate a need to speak.’ It is a supplementary technique of communicative language teaching in the following areas:
• spoken communication skills
• improving course book presentation
• improving pronunciation and other prosodic features
• the teaching of literature-improving students’ understanding of text (simplified and
unsimplified)

The type of the lesson is drama. Second language (L2) learners in groups and in pairs create situations based on previous knowledge learnt during the Food topic. The aims and objectives are to practice vocabulary, to do role play, to present everyday situation and to turn notes into situation.
